I ordered the 260ah battery. When it arrived I tested the open circuit voltage and it was only 0.7V I thought the bms had shut it down for either overcharge or too discharged. I have a couple of chargers for LiFePO4 batteries that are suppose to get the bms to allow connection to the cells all of them acted like no battery was connected at all. I charge it with a manual 12v battery charger for about an hour and was able to get it up to 9.2v but no further. If I had to guess the bms died and took the cells with it. DC house did respond quickly and refunded my money, but I had to cut out the mount for the 8d size battery I had welded into my rv and build a new mount for the golf cart batteries I bought instead since they are the best i could get locally before I leave on my camping trip tomorrow.[update] Since DC HOUSE refunded my money and told me to just recycle the battery I decided to perform an autopsy on the battery. I found one of the buss bars had broke away from the cell and another cell had ruptured and was leaking the electrolyte. I am raising my review to 4 stars since this looks like it was caused by being dropped during shipping not a manufacturing defect. it would have been 5 stars but the frame work holding the cells was too fragile a little better design and the battery would have survived.

The 100 Ah battery came in about 20% charged. After a full charge at 10A – I discharged it, drained exactly 100Ah – then charged it again. It took the expected 100Ah, true to the specs.Took it to the water – it handled 43A full throttle easily, very long (30+ minutes) runs. I have a 50Ah battery from Eco-Worthy, now as a backup, and it also tested and worked great. The 100 Ah calms my “range anxiety” better. Both batteries are light and easy to handle.Excellent buy, worth every penny.

I haft to first say upgrade or make sure your using the right charge controller! We had the wrong one at first and thought itโs ok, upgraded the charge controller day one major upgrade with these batteries!! I canโt say enough how good they are we ordered another one the other day, the possibilityโs of just how far we can move off the grid just went through the roof, if your thinking of a solar system or upgrade these are the right priced batteries and will get your further into your dream of going off grid! And if anyone is saying bad comments their charge controller needs a upgrade!

Exactly fit in the space my old converter lived in before I upgraded to the Xantrex Freedom XC Inverter/Charger. Replacing two 6 volt golf batts I had to replace every few years, freeing up the old battery bay outside for other storage. Inside it should be protected from freezing under all but the most extreme circumstances so it’s OK that it doesn’t have a built in heater or even freeze protection.

I bought this to use in my rv but also to power my trolling motor. I haven’t had a chance to use it in either capacity yet. I did top it off and hope to try it soon during a trip that I’m planning. I am very happy with the price that I paid.

Excellent Batteries with stellar BMS. Pair these with a Rich Solar 60A MPPT Charge Controller and tweak the charge Algorithm BST=180 min, Max Charge Rate 13.8V, BST Return 13.2, BST charge Rate 14.5, and you are set. These Batteries are top notch.

I have had the battery for awhile and it worked fine. I had an issue with it recently that required a replacement. The company asked for the photo of the issue and sent me a replacement without any hassle. Excellent customer service and follow up. I would highly recommend.
