   Easy set up and monitoring.

   For a few months now I’ve been using this mppt controller in an outdoor cabinet for a solar set up on my chicken coop to charge a single 12v, 314 ah, lipo4 on 800 watts of PV. The battery powers an inverter that runs my digital valve controller for the garden, a thermal fan in the greenhouse, along with two Wyzevcameras and an occasional heating mat.

   It’s been easy to monitor and does well harnessing the PV DC and putting it into the battery. Happy with the product.

   I purchased a second one recently to install on a 24 volt solar setup that I’m doing on a friend’s trailer so she can go off grid if needed.

   Best quality and price!!!

   Though this is just a small part of my system, it’s still very important. It’s connected to 2 of BougeRv’s 400w panels connected in series and when the sun shine at the peak of the day, it adds an additional 40 amps to my 24 volt system. and when the batteries reach the full charge state of 28.2 volts (my lithium batteries max charge) all the controllers reduce their output (when programed correctly in the app’s parameter battery settings, custom battery option ) <( very user friendly ) and maintain the output needed by my 24v to 120/240 inverters that are powering my house. Price, quality, ease of setup and programing are all good reasons to purchase it. If you zoom in on the picture, you can see surge protectors, upper right, under the inverters are the fuses for the panels and under that is a meter that tells me the total output in volts, amps and KWH the system is putting into my batteries. Any questions, I’ll answer them when I get them here.

   Don’t buy this product (Wouldn’t let me leave zero stars)

   I am so disappointed with this product. It did not work for me. I could not install it after trying everything.

   The controller did not put out any voltage and would not charge the battery.

   And the customer service is almost non existent. You call the number and they send you a text that you have to email them your problem. If you’re lucky they will answer the next day with another question.

   That is no way to troubleshoot a problem. I finally had to return the item and go shop elsewhere.

   So far so good

   Seems to work fine (time will tell). I like the connectors although being a guy who likes to oversize wiring I would prefer a bit larger. BT app seems nice and easy to install.

   Updated unit is awesome.

   Update after month plus of use.

   I’ve installed this in my 2010 travel trailer.

   I started with 200 watts and now I’m up to 800 watts. Will go to 1,000 at some point.

   I installed all of this my self.

   Built in Bluetooth is nice and easy. Downloaded app and instantly connected. App is basic but works well when your trouble shooting panel issues while on the roof. P.s. all of my issues have been quick connectors loosing continuity.

   Unit is heavy seems well built.

   I’ve had problems with other brand controllers and would absolutely recommend this unit…..

   Unit is awesome, super happy with it bougeRV.

   Added in more solar panels and had to upgrade my controller to handle higher voltage incoming to the controller. Had a 30 amp pmw and upgraded to 60 amp mppt. Huge difference especially in early in day and later in the day. Seems like I pull in so much more in the off peak hours. That’s huge. Good stuff. Very heavy feels super well made. Nice screws and connectors, not cheap stuff. It’s blue to compatible and ready but you need to purchase the blue tooth module in addition to controller. Display is good. The unit is expensive but seems worth it.

   Incorrect battery capacity measurement

   This controller simply won’t enter “bulk” charging. I have 8 100w/10a panels, 300ah lifepo4, 1000w inverter. MAX voltage i can put to the battery is 500w with this controller. This is because no matter the battery voltage, it shows 100% capacity on the app. This is preventing the controller form entering any stage of charging except the final charging phase of lower power thinking it’s just topped off the battery. My solar setup runs my office. This controller prevents the battery from being at 100% when the sun sets.

   The app itself is curious to say the least. Even with expert mode on custom battery not all settings are available.
