To avoid cycle life shortening, it is recommended not to discharge the battery below 50%.
It is highly recommended to use a battery balancer to extend the battery service life when multiple batteries are connected in series and/or in parallel.
We highly recommend installing the battery upright. It is allowed to install the battery on its side only if there are special reasons for doing so. DO NOT install the battery upside down.

1.Q:Do they come with the terminal bolts? if not what size do they take?

A:This Renogy AGM battery comes with two M8 x 1.25 x 20 mm terminal bolts.

2.Q:Can I connect batteries in series and in parallel?

A:Yes, you can. The maximum number that can be connected in parallel is 4. In series, there are no limitations.

3.Q:Can I connect a 100 Ah battery to a 200 Ah battery?

A:No, you can’t. All the batteries you connect together should be the same capacity (Ah), the same voltage (V), and most importantly, the same battery type (AGM). And it would be better if they come from the same brand.

4.Q:What’s the best way to place and store this battery?

A:It’s a sealed battery and we recommend placing the battery upright. It is allowed to be placed and installed on its side only if there are special reasons for doing so. DO NOT place the battery upside down. You should store it in a dry and cool (5°F~104°F / -15°C~40°C) place. Make sure that it is 100% charged before storing it, and recharge after three months.

5.Q:Can I discharge the battery to 0% and then recharge it again?

A:To avoid cycle life shortening, it is recommended not to discharge the battery below 50%. And when not in use, we recommend charging it 100% before storing it and recharging it after three months.

6.Q:I will go to live in my forest cabin during the winter holiday. So I want to know that can this battery be used at freezing temperatures?

A:The discharge working temperature range is 5°F~122°F (-15°C~50°C) and the charge temperature range is 5°F~104°F (-15°C~40°C). Using this battery at a lower or higher temperature than the range will shorten the battery’s lifespan. We recommend checking the specific daily temperature of the place you will be going before using this AGM battery.

7.Q:When using a charge controller, which battery type should I set?

A:You should choose the SLD battery settings.

I purchesed the 100 AH 12v battery and battery box combo. I have purchased othe Renology products and they’re good products from a good company. I did have a minor issue with the battery box strap. The plastic buckle broke while trying to install it for the first time. I contacted tech support and they want be to email them a photo of the broken buckle. That’s fair enough. So I’m pleased they are working with me to replace the strap.UPDATE: So Renology got back to me and informed me that the strap by itself is not available, so they’re sending me a new battery box and strap kit. How about that for customer service. I give them 10 stars. **********!

This is a very heavy battery with that is a two man job to install this battery in most RVs. It came well packaged for shipping dubbed boxed with padding. The battery came fully charged and had all hardware included. So it was ready right out of the box. Only problem I had was trying to register the battery on there website. Other than that it’s a great house battery for your RV.

I bought this 2 weeks ago to add to my solar bank. It arrived on time fully charged. I connected it to a 600 watt inverter and ran my 120watt 55″ lcd tv for 8 hours with no problems. I have solar bank for power outages and want it for night time to run my Fridge and deep freeze so I’m not running my loud generator. This works in nicely with my other 3 batteries. I will be buying another one or two.

Battery is very heavy and much wider than the rack on the front of my trailer. I have the 100 Amp hr Renogy battery and love it. Renogy makes awesome products but I couldn’t use this battery. Measure where you want to put it and measure both length and width to be sure it fits. Then be sure to have a helper to install it because it is very heavy!!
